She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Pork Chops" Sherod Sr. and Leora "Sista" Sherod; her siblings, William Sherod Jr., Thurston Sherod Sr., Andre Brown and Elizabeth "Liz" Green; and her son Tranier "Tree" Drayton.
She is survived by: her children, Angelique Drayton, LaChelle Drayton, Nyokalynn Drayton and Lonnie E. Drayton II (Janet); her grandchildren, Kendra Kimble (Quadell), E'Chelle Drayton-Ollins and Malonni Drayton; her great grandchildren, JaTavia Avery, DeRez Kimble and Tranier Kimble; and her sisters, Audris Billberry and Alona Forman (Edward). She is also survived by nieces nephews cousins other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Providence Baptist Church (2209 Clifton Ave, Rockford, IL 61102).
