We announce the death of Maria C. Bermingham of Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on July 23, 2026, at the age of 70. Maria will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Geno Cuppini and Dolores Cuppini (Pro); and her nephew Joseph. She is survived by: her husband Denis; her children, Charles (Meaggan) and Therese (Matt); her grandpuppies, Buddy, Zoey, Coda and Zeke; and her siblings, Geno and Michael (Julie).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Shelter House of Iowa City.
