We are sad to announce that on August 28, 2022, at the age of 75, Martin Funk of Rockford, Illinois, born in Richmond, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Funk and Helen Funk; and his daughter Cynthia Griffin. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Sun, John Schutz, Cathy McKinney (Chris) and Naomi PadJen (Tim); and his siblings, John Funk (Kathy), Tom Funk (Cathy) and Nancy Rosser. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren, 9 nieces and nephews and many dear cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a tribute yet to be established.
