She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles McGhee and Ruby Lee McGhee; and her brothers, Charles McGhee and Charles "Bubba" McGhee. She is survived by: her children, Shree Leigh (Elgia), Dutchess McGhee, Decarles McGhee (Phyllis) and Delarnas McGhee (Lakeisha); her siblings, Colleen McGhee, Ricky and Melvin McGhee; and her godson Mecos T. Hill. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews cousins other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. (200 N Johnston Ave, Rockford, IL 61101). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
