It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ann Ellis of Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on February 6, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Day and Leotis Sanders; her husband Charles Ellis; and her siblings, Mae Stewart-Lockhart, James O. Sanders and Leo Alexander.
She is survived by: her children, Micheal Anderson (Sharon), Keith Anderson, Charles Ellis (Rebecca), L'Seanda "Tracy" Wiley (Ronald) and Kimarie Ellis; and her siblings, Berlin Sanders (Betty), John Sanders (Thelma), LaVertis Stewart-Sanders (Carolyn), Howard T. Boykin, Ola Mae Bernel (William), Tammy Troupe and Tina Troupe. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several godchildren.
