She was predeceased by: her parents, Ardella Orton and Orville Orton; and her son Darrell. She is survived by: her husband Floyd; her son Byron Kuhn (Kate); her grandchildren, Lia, Miles, Molly and Elliot; her son Alex; and her siblings, Pam Anderson (Gerald), Cheryl Johnson and Jeffrey Orton (Mary).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Northern Illinois Hospice in Mavis' name.
