She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard O'Brien and Nettie O'Brien; her husband Gerald Jacobs Sr.; her siblings, Richard, Raymond, Edward, Joseph O'Brien and Lorene Fatheree (O'Brien); her children-in-law, Bruce Schaeffer, Don Olson, Star Jacobs and Gody Jacobs; and her great great grandchild Jaylen Spates.

She is survived by: her children, John "Jack" Jacobs of Lisbon, IA, Theresa Olson of Louisville, IL, Gerald "Jerry" Jacobs Jr. (Charmel) of Rockton, IL, Shelley Farmer (Ralph) of Knoxville, TN and Cynthia Nelson (Steve) of Rockford, IL.; her sister Chelsea Casolari (Bill) of Flora, IL; her sister-in-law Catherine O'Brien (Lake); and her brothers, Charles "Bill" O'Brien (Valerie) and Roy O'Brien (Dorothy).
