She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Shelhop and Hazel Shelhop (Archer) of Dimes. She is survived by: her husband Clinton J. Powell; her daughters, Gayle Kuespert (Ralph) of Rockford, IL and Connie Hollis; her grandchildren, Glieca Goldsmith (Don), Rev. Heidi Happel (Kent), Kristi Steinhiser (Patrick), Amanda Horstman (Travis) and Amy Strembicki (Wojciech); and her great grandchildren, Jeshua Scott (Taylor), Caleb Scott, Dr. Victoria "Tori" Happel (Joe Nafzinger), Kaitlyn Steinhiser (Nate Randle), Megan Steinhiser, Riley Steinhiser, Savannah Horstman (Jeremiah Sesvold), Trinity Horstman and Wiktoria Strembicki.
