He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernice Martin and Robert Johnson; his wife Julie Rossol; his siblings, Gregory Martin, Yousuf Bin-Rella and Adiyah Hassan; and his niece Stacey Lovings.

He is survived by: his daughters, Dezarae and Daeja Martin; his siblings, Kimberly Martin, Andrea Griffin, Afriqah Imani, Brandii Fatihat Dangerfield, Diallo Sekou and Atif Gamal; and his close friends, Andre, Deajun Parham and Michael Simmons. He is also survived by nieces, nephews cousins other relatives and friends.
