He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Tennin and Lottie Tennin-Flowers; his siblings, Darlene Baldwin, Ben Tennin and Donald Tennin; and his close friends, J. T. Leach, Dornal McNeely, Darrow Roby, Jake Holloway, Larry Croft and George Caine.
He is survived by: his wife Leona Tennin; his sons, Deitrich Tennin, Tremayne Tennin (Nica) and Myron Walston (Rita); his grandchildren, Te'Nya Tennin, RyLeigh Tennin, Alexis, Dasjuan and Quajson; his brother Mark Anthony Tennin; his goddaughters, Angelique Malone, Vanquiell Laster, Khadijah Edwards and Lala Kyles; and his close friends, Troy Malone and Willie Lewis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews cousins other relatives and friends.
