With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melanie J. Fazio in Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on September 26, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Melanie is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Fazio and Virginia Fazio (Cascio). She is survived by: her brother Paul Fazio.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church (1010 Ferguson St, Rockford, IL 61102). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery - Winnebago/Rockford (8616 W State Rd, Winnebago, IL 61088).
