He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Nyre and Elda Nyre (Schultz); his brother Joe Nyre; and his sister-in-law Joyce Johnson (Jerry). He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane A. Nyre (Meyers); his children, Jerry Gunn (Jennifer) and James Gunn; his grandson Michael Gunn (Hannah); his sister Llona Sailing; his nephews, Robert and Duane; his sister-in-law Delores Nyre; and his friends, Rita and Jim. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
