With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael D. Molander of Rockford, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on March 11, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his uncle Richard Molander; and his significant other's son Dustan Drolsum. He is survived by: his significant other Janell Forry Drolsum; his daughters, Rachel Molander and Emily Jennings (Christian) of Wauwatosa, WI; his brother Randy Molander of Phoenix, AZ; his granddaughters, Ellie Laesch (Nate Talan), Mabel and Amelia Jennings; and his close friends, Beth, Roger Kane, April and Allen Reed. He is also survived by nieces; a nephew; and other family and friends.

Donations can be made to Serenity Hospice and Home, 1658 IL-2, Oregon, IL 61061 in Michael's name.
