He is survived by: his wife Kay Kendall; his children, Tom Douglas (Jeanny) of Rockford, Tracy Palmer (David) of Rockford and Barbara Douglas-Johnson (Eric) of Rockford; and his grandchildren, Evelyn Johnson, Sadie Beachey, Hannah Buzzard (Tyler), Natalie Burgess (Trevor), Andrew Johnson and Nate Douglas (Rachel).
