He was predeceased by: his father Harry Leatherby; his grandmother Eva Leaman; his aunts, Jan Fiorello and JoAnn Lundquist; and his uncle Fred Leatherby.
He is survived by: his mother Mary Leatherby (Leaman); his son Danny; his granddaughters, Eva and Amelia; his sister Lori Johnson (Randy); his niece Kelli Steder (Nick); and his great-nephew Kashton.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory (1860 S Mulford Rd, Rockford, IL 61108). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
