He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeffery "Ted" Wengert and Violet Wengert (Henze); and his siblings, Betty Seiter, Joanne Tolmie and Denis Wengert.
He is survived by: his wife Emily Ross; his sons, Patrick Wengert (Kristen), Paul Wengert, Ted Wengert and Ken Wengert (Ken Bartelt); his granddaughters, Tory and Abbey; and his sister Sylvia Larson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
