He is survived by: his wife Pam Welsh (Nelson); his son Sean Welsh (Kim J.); his grandchildren, Riley and Brady Welsh; his daughter Sara Welsh (Jeff Germann); his granddaughter Karma Peppers; his siblings, Marc Welsh (Kim R.) and Karen "Chicken Mama" Welsh; and his brother-in-law Brad Nelson (Barb). He is also survived by several other cousins, nieces and nephews along with countless friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted by the family and later given to the Citizens Assisting Police (CAPs) program of the Rockford Police Department on Myron's behalf.
