He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Walker and Pearlie Walker; his sons, Michael and Tony Walker; his grandson Allen Nathaneil Walker; and his siblings, Henry Lee, James Walker, Ruth Perteete and Vira Flemons.
He is survived by: his wife Ella Mae Walker; his daughters, Sharon Malone (Louis), Linda Walker and Brenda Walker; his grandchildren, Troy (Angelique), Andre, Sidney Malone (Rashawnda), Rebecca Francis (Justin), Tavoris Walker (Shavonda) and Caprisha McDowell; his siblings, Floyd Walker, Vernita Watkins (Leotis), Charlene Gray (Bob), Pearl Pinkey and Lorraine Baxter; and his goddaughter Kiara Carthen. He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Luke M. B. Church (2919 19th St, Rockford, IL 61109). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
