“Jean and Vern became two of my best friends while I lived in Rockford and they were so encouraging and supportive when I went through one of the worst times of my life. After I moved away, they still stayed in contact with me and my new wife, Ellen. After Vern passed away, Jean continued to meet with us periodically. She was so sweet and kind. We loved our times we had with her and were saddened to hear of her passing. Our prayers go out to the family and all those who knew and loved her.”
