With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Norma Spitzmiller (Rockford, Illinois), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Larson and Beulah Larson (Soiney); her husband Bryan John Spitzmiller; her daughter Sheryl Messina; and her siblings, Bernice Garness, Helen Beaman, Marie Betsinger, Harold, Leslie, Leland and Richard Larson.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Spitzmiller (Sandy) of Roscoe, IL, Larry Spitzmiller (Margo) of South Beloit, IL and Helen Ruth Link of Loves Park, IL; her grandchildren, Marcus Spitzmiller (Carrie) of Roscoe, IL, Michael Spitzmiller (Danielle) of California, David Link (Geraldine) of Denver, CO, Jason Link (Stacie) of Highlands Ranch, CO, Ryan Link of Loves Park, IL, Zachary Spitzmiller of Roscoe, IL, Linzi Spitzmiller of South Beloit, IL, Lindsey Bronson (Jarrett) of Cape Coral, FL and Courtney Stoffey (Joe) of Plainfield, IL; her great grandchildren, Catherine, Ryan Spitzmiller, Sophie, Charlie Link, Kylie, Jase, Brooke Link, Alexa, Myles, Ella Link, Elia Spitzmiller, Presley and Dax Stoffey; and her sisters-in-law, Helen Larson of Mabel, MN, Marcia Larson of Mabel, MN and Dorothy Polio of Alton, IL. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church (4620 20th St, Rockford, IL 61109). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the New Milford Cemetery.
