He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Carlson and Myrtle Carlson (Lofgren). He is survived by: his daughters, Christine Karnick, Lisa Runyon (Paul) and Amy Haskins (Tom); his grandchildren, Peter, Katherine and Anna Karnick; and his daughters, Sally and Lars Haskins (Paige). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
