“I was Waldo's English teacher at Roosevelt, and he was my student for almost 2 years. I saw him nearly every day, and he spoke so lovingly about his friends and family. He was such a sweet, funny, kind, and smart kid. He was also impressively responsible and level-headed. Just a great person. I'm so sorry for your loss; he was so special, and I will miss him.”
