He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his daughter Kelly Carter (Cortney Love); his grandchildren, Louis Dotson (Ladeja Dean), Deztenni Goldsmith (Jaylin) and Lorenzo Dotson; his great grandchildren, Leyah Dotson and Avani Goldsmith; his brothers, David Carter (Debbie), Ricky Carter (Nicki), Mark Carter, Timmy Carter and Steve Carter; and his close friends, Joe Thompson, Pat Oddo and Jerry Dietrich. He is also survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
