Paul R. Christianson Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Paul R. Christianson of Rockford, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 29, 2026 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Paul has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert L. Christianson and Evelyn Christianson (Olson); and his daughter Beth Shaver. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Dean Christianson of Swansea, Keith Christianson (Karen) of Rockford and Lynn Wheeler (Joel) of Lake Summerset; his son-in-law Ron Shaver (Karin); and his sister Ruth Churchill (Bob). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
