She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Holaine and Astrid Holaine (Carlson); and her brothers-in-law, Cliff Sandberg and Edwin Nelson. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth G. Nelson; her daughters, Karen Christianson (Keith) and Kathy Nelson of Rockford, IL; her grandchildren, Trevor Christianson and Casey Christianson (Mallory); her great grandchildren, Mabel and August; her sister Inga Sandberg of Rockford, IL; her sister-in-law Elizabeth Nelson of Rockford, IL; and her nieces and nephews, Mark Larson (Marcia) of El Cajon, CA, Shari Sparks (Larry) of Thousand Oaks, CA, Jeff Larson (Carol) of Rockford, IL and Jodi Kempin of Rockford, IL.
