She was predeceased by: her parents, James Potter and Georgia Potter; her brother John Pryor Sr.; her children, James Torrance Sr., Eddie E. Torrance, Nathen Torrance and Diane Torrance; and her granddaughters, Annette Torrance, Donie Torrance, Coretta Williamson and Eboni Fletcher.

She is survived by: her sisters, Lura Graham of Austell and Dorthy Cooper; her children, Jonita Rodgers, Sylvia Jones (Kenneth), Vanessa DeWalt, Ernest Phillips (Palmer) and Alfonso Melendez Torrance; and her grandson Jonathan Rodriguez of Pheonix, AZ..
