He is survived by: his spouse Madlyn Johnson; his children, Phillip Lowery Jr. (Tammy Burnett), Jeffrey Lowery and Jody Gummow (Brian); his brothers, Dale and Denzil Jr.; and his friend Shirley Howard. He is also survived by six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
