She was predeceased by: her mother Lillian Vervinck (Towne); her siblings, Charles Vervinck (Mary Ann), Betty Vervinck (Raymond Swart), Gerald Vervinck and Raymond Vervinck; her father Richard Vervinck; her stepfather Robert Towne; her sister-in-law Ida; her siblings, Donald Dean and Roberta Belakwiewicz; and her brother-in-law Rick.
She is survived by: her siblings, Diane Towne of Indianapolis, Roberta Towne, Dorothy Towne of Indianapolis and Harold Vervinck of Michigan; her husband LeRoy Josten; her niece Suzie; her sister Betty Swart; her children, Nancy Cook (Aaron) of Klemme, IA and Richard Vervinck (Tracy) of Merkel, TX; and her brother-in-law Ron of Mooreville.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Wednesday, June 3rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the America Legion Post #212 (1101 S Alpine Rd, Rockford, IL 61108).
