He was predeceased by: his parents, George Paul and Leona Paul (Mueller); his wife JoMarie (Moerschel); his daughter Lynn Marie; his grandfathers, Raymond A. Paul (Ina) and Leon Mueller (Hazel); his brother-in-law Henry Moerschel (Marilee); Edna Kriege Paul.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jody Warren (Mike) of Belvidere, IL and Laurie Kelly (Mike) of Columbia, MO; his grandchildren, Christopher Warren, Rebecca Thomason (Mike) of Albuquerque, NM, Shannon Tratynek (Maggie) of Chicago, Shaun Kelly of San Pedro, CA and Megan Kelly of Brussels; his great grandchildren, Leona and Beckett Huff-Warren; his brother Robert G. Paul (Margaret Kennedy); his niece Katherine Paul (Francois Delangle); and his nephews, Robert G. Paul Jr. (Jennifer), Andrew Paul (Camille Esch), Jonathan Moerschel and Christopher Moerschel (Paula). He is also survived by children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fitzgerald Funeral Home (1860 S Mulford Rd, Rockford, IL 61108). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
