He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Johnson and Marion Johnson (Engstrom); his brothers, Bill (Dorothy) and Dwight Johnson (Charlene); and his sister-in-law Joy.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Parnell; his children, Bruce Johnson (Mindy), Jan Tuero (Carlos), Dave Johnson (Teresa), Tim Johnson, Linda Held (Dan), J. P. Parnell (Celeste), Scott Parnell (Cheryl), Kathryn Holder (Dan), Carol Reierson (Jeff) and Jamie Jensen (Beth); and his friend Bill Cotner. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
