He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard H. Schwartz and Irene A. Schwartz (Kling); his son-in-law Kent Dabney; and his siblings, Roger Schwartz and Lorraine Morris.
He is survived by: his wife Carol J. Thorsgaard; his daughters, Carina Schwartz-Dabney and Shana Hammond; his granddaughters, Jessica Newberry (Cameron) and Rachel Hammond; and his sister-in-law Judy Schwartz.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rock Church, Rock Church Missions, or the Circle of Love Foundation.
