He is survived by: his daughters, Vickie Elmer (Rick Hallberg), Debbie Mastrangeli (Mike) and Pamela True (Ramiro Gonzalez); his grandchildren, Kyle Elmer (Brittany), Becca Barrerra (Jesse), Jessica Peterson-Rangel (Arturo), Megs Peterson and Hunter True; his great grandchildren, Caleb, Wyatt, Tessa Elmer and Nathan Barrerra; and his close friend Norma.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory - Mulford (1860 S Mulford Rd, Rockford, IL 61108). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
