It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Weiler of Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on September 5, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Weiler and Olive Weiler (Thomas); and his brother Terry Weiler. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Merkel; his sons, Stephen and Sean Weiler (La Kingsavang); his grandchild Santi Weiler; and his close friends, Mike and Carol Sporrer.
