He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jerónino Davila and María Trinidad Soliz; his wife Esther Cano; and his children, Robert Davila, Ana Davila Edwards (Ervin), Maria Holloway, Lucy Larosa, Margie Gomez (Tony), Sammy Soliz, Barbara Soliz and Trina Soliz Sanchez. He was also cherished by twenty grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
