With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Roger L. Sass of Rockford, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eleanor Sass and Wayne Sass; his wife Paula Sass; his son Todd Sass; his aunt Marguerite Sass; and his brother-in-law Robert Reber.

He is survived by: his sister Donna Reber; his daughters, Paulette Caniano (Frank), Mitzi Magdziarz (Augie) and Kristine Sass Carey; his grandchildren, Brooke Peterson (Mike), Marissa Caniano, Nicholas Caniano (Jaclyn Smith), Kyla Brown (Dustin), Jake Carey, Dillon Carey, Stephanie Suhr (Doug) and Matt Magdziarz (Jessica); and his great grandchildren, Sophie, William Peterson, Benjamin, Lucy Brown, Hannah, Keegan, Katelyn, Aiden Suhr and Remy Magdziarz. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
