He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertis Picht (Bert) and Shirley Picht (Elliott); his parents-in-law, Susan and Ralph Dickason; and his sister Vicki Carden (Picht).

He is survived by: his wife Jane (Dickason); his children, Tara (Bob O'Meara), Adam (Katherine Krupa Picht) and Kate (Jordan Gustman); his sister Jane (Powell); his cousin Jeri; his son Benjamin Picht; his grandchildren, Emily O'Meara, Sadie O'Meara, Michael O'Meara, James O'Meara, Lukas Picht, Dominik Picht, Julia Picht, Clara Gustman and Lucy Gustman; his close friend John Mylin; his brothers-in-law, James and Joe Dickason; and his son-in-law Bob O'Meara.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's children hospital or a cancer research organization of your choice.
