He is survived by: his mother Ingeborg Schwarz (Isenberg) of Rockford; his wife Sandy Slaga; his children, Caleb Slaga-Schwarz of Rockford and Hannah Ruef (Peter) of Rockford; his granddaughter Arya Margaret Ruef; his siblings-in-law, Jeanne Miller of Denver, CO and Edward Slaga (Kathy) of Minneapolis, MN; his niece Elisabeth Slaga of Minneapolis, MN; his nephews, Tim Miller (Stevie Rhiannon) of Denver, CO, Michael Miller (Diane) of Denver, CO and Christoper Miller of Denver, CO; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Aden, Ashton, Sean and Bella Miller; and his pet Norma Jean.
