It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosie Elaine Bailey (Rockford, Illinois), who passed away on January 19, 2025, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George E. Bailey and Verdie Bea Bailey; her grandparents, Jahue and Annie Mae Stowe; and her siblings, George Bailey, Jr., Beatrice Taylor, Fritz Bailey, Patricia Smith, John Bailey, Jerry Bailey, Joanne Mae Bailey and Georgia Mae Hodges.
She is survived by: her children, Verrita Bailey and Jonathan Bailey; her grandchildren, Immorial, Peace, Melanie and Majesty Bailey; her sisters, Joyce Ward, Rita Bailey, Margaret Bailey and Mary Coretta Bailey; and her close friends, Merline Love, Juanita Love, Deborah Love, Willa Benford and Jerry Taylor.
