Sally Ann Paugels Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sally Ann Paugels of Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on October 13, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Sally Ann may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Richardson and Evelyn Richardson (Boettcher); and her son-in-law Joe Renkes. She is survived by: her husband Dennis Paugels; her children, Jan Renkas and Jay Johnson (Elizabeth); and her pet Pepper. She is also survived by grandkids and great- grandkids.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (1045 Belvidere Rd, Belvidere, IL 61008).
