It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Salvatore Ocello of Rockford, Illinois, born in Sicily, Illinois, who passed away on June 12, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Giuseppe Ocello and Maria Ocello (Feliciano); his wife Giuseppina Fiumarella; and his siblings, Giuseppina Di Giovanna, Gioacchino Ocello, Emilio Ocello, Angelo Ocello, Calogero Ocello and Vincenzo Ocello.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Ocello (Francesca) and Maria Kostantacos (Greg); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Grisanzio, Alessandria Grisanzio, Giuseppina Ocello, Peter Kostantacos, Salvatore Ocello and Michele Ocello; his great grandchildren, Eli Murphy and Giuseppe Ocello; and his brother Franco Ocello (Carla). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
