She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Ackerson and Naomi Ackerson (Alden). She is survived by: her husband Conny; her children, Darren Carlson (Shawn) and Shelly Westerberg (Ryan); her grandchildren, Anna, Aidan, Mason Westerberg, Gillian Gerard and Lydia Carlson; her sister Carol Malmgren; and her sibling's children, Sue Altschwager, Jody Curtis, Carrie Kruzan and Brad Malmgren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Mark Lutheran Church (675 N Mulford Rd, Rockford, IL 61107). A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church or consider doing acts of kindness.
