She is survived by: her husband Gilbert Peterson; her children, Gil Peterson (Kelly) and Kim Haile (Russ); her grandchildren, Brielle Kuchinski (Jon), Liam Peterson and Ainsley Peterson; her great grandchild Hazel Mae; her sisters, Joy Weyhmiller (Richard) and Linda Salmon (Michael); her niece Amber Haugen (Ira); and her nephew Nick Weyhmiller (Kyle Keane).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
