We are sad to announce that, on March 26, 2023, at the age of 77, Sheila M. Carlson of Rockford, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley O. Johnson and Elaine M. Johnson (Anderson); and her sister Christine Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Gary E. Carlson; her children, Bernt Carlson (Jill) of Belvidere and Britta Swanson (Brian) of Rockford; her grandchildren, Martin, Christian (Renee Hahn), Garrett Carlson, Magnus and Kaisa Swanson; her siblings-in-law, Gordon Johnson (Chris) and Madolyn Kareckas (Jerome); her nieces, Kristi Hollingsworth and Kjerstin Ferullo (Brett); and her nephew Rev. Kenton Johnson (Gretchen).
