He was predeceased by: his wife Marie Allen. He is survived by: his children, Barbara Cole (Michael Dreibelbeis), Sharon Rudsinski (Terry) and Jeffery Cole; his grandchildren, Heather Jones (Travis), Jonathan Gentry (Samantha), Trevor Lutzow (Delany Sisiruca) and Jeremy Cole (Caroline Gasienica); and his sister Joyce Nelson. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Grace Funeral & Cremation Services (4301 N Main St, Rockford, IL 61103). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 3:45 PM to 4:15 PM.
Memorials in his memory may be made to the family.
