He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Dung Nguyen; his stepchildren, Thien and Nam Huynh; his siblings, Thi Hoa Huynh and Thanh Tam Huynh (Ngoc Mai); his former wife Chi Huynh; his father Huynh Van Be; his brother Phu Vinh Huynh; and his siblings-in-law, Van Tinh Nguyen and Thi Ngoc Huong Tran.
A nationally ranked ping pong player, Huynh came to pickleball during the pandemic and was always down for a match.
