He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Leonard" Kay and Pearl Kay (Philput); his siblings, Nellie Mae Crossno of Rockford, IL, Linda Brooks-Petro of Whiting, IN, Bob and Leon Kay; and his uncle John Simmons of Shelby.
He is survived by: his wife Ellen McNeil; his stepdaughters, Tricia McNeil of Seattle, WA and Amy Stone (Chad) of Hart; his grandchildren, Dylon, Theodore and Payden; his sister Sharon Robbinis (Louis) of Rothbury; his sister-in-law Cheryl Kay of Shelby; and his aunts, Mary Jane McAlee of Imboden, AR and Zella Simmons of Shelby. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
