We are sad to announce that, on August 16, 2025, at the age of 88, Thomas A. Nelson (Rockford, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Nelson and Mary Nelson; his siblings, Bob Nelson (Mary) and Kay McDevitt (Bill); and his brothers-in-law, Ed Havens and Richard Anderson.
He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Havens and Barbara Anderson; and his friend Mary Frances Lester. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary Oratory or Corpus Christi Monastery of the Poor Clares.
