He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Oran and Ruth Linnea Pell (Carlson); and his sisters, Sharyn Anderson and Louise Palmgren. He is survived by: his wife Judy Pell; his children, Nicki Cottrell (Andy) and Ryan Pell (Lindsey); his grandchildren, Brooke, Devon Cottrell and Mya Pell; and his brother-in-law Roy Anderson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Legacy Life Celebration Center (1100 N Lyford Rd, Rockford, IL 61107).
