He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Tennison and Pearl Tennison (Gaskin); his son Perry Thomas Tennison; his grandson Jeremy Thomas Tennison; and his siblings, Bill, Donald, Delano, Douglas, Duane and Etta Lou Brand.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara B. Tennison (Dobbs); his son Jeffrey Tennison; his granddaughter Bethany Tuttle (Joe); and his great grandchildren, Poppy June Tuttle and Orin Robert Tuttle. He is also survived by several in-laws, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the New Milford Cemetery (2685 New Milford School Rd, Rockford, IL 61109).
