We are sad to announce that on July 21, 2025, at the age of 22, Tyler Michael Maurer of Rockford, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Tyler Michael may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Tyler Michael touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his grandmother Marie Lawrence. He is survived by: his parents, Tyrone "Ty" Maurer (Melissa) and Merideth "Merri" Maurer; his siblings, Taylor Lawrence, Sierra Maurer, Johnathon Lewis, Stephanie Erickson and Stacy Lewis; his grandparents, Michael, Dawn Maurer, Gerald and Nancy Lawrence; and his pets, Gracie and Itty Bitty. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other extended family members, and friends.
